One of a set of twins, aether traveled the worlds with his sister and did as they pleased. Jeralt really had never trusted Rhea. Though the woman had saved his life, the attention she was paying his new born child was not natural. Seizing an opportunity, he set a fire in their home, taking his young child with him and disappearing into the night. Eldest son born to the marquess elwin rosfield, clive bears many features that make him the spitting image of his father. Were so many people not present when he was born to Anabella, one might be tempted to claim that he was a bastard. Of all the things to happen to him, having a Fool’s Bangle clamped on his arm was probably the worst that could happen. He’d already nearly died once, that wasn’t really a fear anymore. But he’d been caught and gang pressed into working for a noble. Needing to go to Noblecourt, Therion chose instead to go the long way around Orsterra, down through the Riverlands.Or that had been the plan if he hadn’t met an overly excitable apothecary who all but dragged him north around the continent, picking up extra people the entire time. Every time he thought he would be free of someone, because they had reached their destination or he'd finally reached his, it was clear that the plan was to continue traveling all the way around the continent until they'd all finished their business.The longer he spends around the group of travelers, the less prickly he becomes. He cares about these people, doesn't want to see them hurt like he'd been and in some cases ( Primrose ), he will absolutely get blood on his hands to make sure that whomever did what Darius did to him pays dearly. If questioned, he will refuse to speak on his fondness for the other travelers, trying to give half truths and criticisms about the others, though they can often see through him.Once he deals with Darius once and for all, feeling guilty about ignoring the man calling for his once friend to save him from whomever it was that decided to prey him, he continues traveling with the group. All the while he claims that it's easier to sneak in and out of places with his stolen goods when his whole group is goody two shoes that would give someone everything they owned if asked.He is the reason that the group does not go broke. Born to Regis Lucis Caelum and his wife Aulea, Noctis was a blessing to the couple. Being at the top is lonely, and while in most cases he stays well away from others, there are quite a few people that Sephiroth lets into his life. Angeal and Genesis are two of them, steadfast friends and confidants that he would burn a city to the ground for. They are his friends from the moment that he finds them undergoing similar tests to him, and despite his efforts to stay away from them, they bond over their suffering. They are not the last however. Director Lazard and some of the Turks could be considered friends, but more accurately are his associates.It isn't until he is abandoned by his so called friends that he realizes just how much they meant to him, Genesis' betrayal of ShinRa and Sephiroth himself cuts deep, and when Angeal leaves to chase after his childhood friend, Sephiroth all but sequesters himself in his rooms when not on missions or doing PR for the company. Near no one would know just how badly it affected him, save one SOLDIER that had wormed his way into the General's life.Zack Fair is a bright and happy person even when he has no right to be, and quickly goes from an annoyance, to an acquaintance, to a friend and trusted confidant. Even when everyone else is leaving them behind, Zack swears by Sephiroth and proves that he is stuck with the over excited child man until the planet dies with them on it.It is something that will haunt him when he regains his senses, knowing that he allowed Genesis to warp his thoughts and feelings about his "mother", causing him to turn on the one person he considered a friend above all others. He had no idea that his bout of insanity would cause so much pain, but at the time he could only focus on the pain that the planet was being subjected to, and how he had to cleanse the surface of this beloved planet of all life.No matter the cost. The town, an innocent girl, his friends and even the head of the company and the real Cetra were not exempt from his rage. This world was corrupt and not worth saving when he could start anew.It wasn't for several years after this that he regained the sanity he once possessed, met with the face of a former friend. they might not be as trusting of him as they once were, but they were willing to harbor him and nurse him back to health, all while shielding him from the watchful eyes of the rest of the world.the moment he was able, he disappears out from under their care to live in seclusion.

Link was taken in by Rusl when he was found as a baby in Ordona's spring, parents nowhere to be seen. All through his life, he grew up as a child of Ordon, though where he truly originated from remains a mystery. But as he grew older, he knew that there was always something different, especially when there were other children being born. He'd always noticed that he had features different from those of the others in the village.After the birth of his son, Colin, Link posed his question to Rusl. It was then he learned that he was not from the village. At 7 years old, he asked that none of the rest of the children know, because regardless of where he came from before, this was his home now. As Colin grew older, the house he lived in with Rusl was becoming too cramped, and a new home was built for Link on the edge of the village.The journey is a long one, testing the limits of the courage that Link seems to have inherited from his past lives. The quiet goat herder from Ordon is changed into a brutal warrior who charges head first into danger with little thought towards his own well being. One by one, monstrous creatures are defeated, and weapons are collected to help him in his end goal.Link went back to life as normal, before he had to drop the life that he knew to go save the children that he considered family. He still helps out in the fields, herding the goats back into the barn from time to time, but as Colin and Talo get older, they take over that job. But while they get back their family member, Link is not as cheerful as he once was. The journey has made a mark on his mind and heart. Somethings he just cannot forget.When Midna left for the Twilight Realm, she left him with the twilight shard that Zant had cursed him with. Link usually has the shard on him, having placed it on a necklace and learned to control the energy it gives off. From time to time, when he is feeling nostalgic, he will shift back into a wolf, and roam through the plains. He no longer has the ability to warp to places like Arbiter's Grounds, but he can still sit upon a high hilltop and wish for things to be the way they used to be.If he is not tending to things in Ordon, he is normally visiting Zelda at the castle, or training with the guards posted around the castle. None of them know him as the hero that saved them from the possibility of them living as spirits for eternity. To them, he is just some country boy with an obscene amount of potential. More often than not, he will avoid the castle town like the plague, not wanting to be called on to help with another crisis.

Zack is sent on a mission with Angeal, finally getting the chance to prove himself. His friend Genesis has turned coat, and they are sent to either bring him back of take him out. And when they fail to do either, Zack should be upset that he didn't do the one thing he was supposed to, until he finds out that not only has Genesis betrayed ShinRa, but his mentor Angeal has too.While he would love to do nothing more than run after his mentor and demand answers, he has to pick up the slack. Mission after mission is assigned to him, and he is unable to focus on what might have happened, until he runs into Genesis and Angeal in their home town of Banora. Question after question was asked to the two, until his Turk comrade pulls him from his reverie and whisks him away before the town is reduced to cinders.When he returns, he recieves his coveted SOLDIER First Class promotion, and it rings hollow in his heart without those he cares for here to celebrate it.With the promotion comes a partnership with one of the few remaining SOLDIER First Class members remaining, namely Sephiroth himself. With repeated interactions with Genesis, Angeal, and their clones, it was no surprise that things eventually get wildly out of hand. Taking the most fire power to Nibelheim along with a local to guide them, things do not go entirely to plan.Genesis appears yet again, revealing unknowingly false details about the superior SOLDIER's birth and early life. Confused and seeking answers, Sephiroth sequesters himself in the manor's basement, until eventually falling victim to his fears and hate, burning the town to the ground, slaughtering the townspeople, and subsequently turning on his friend.Though Zack is a formidible SOLDIER in his own right, Sephiroth in a rage is more than he can handle. The next he is aware of reality again, it is 4 years since Nibelheim was razed, and he must escape ShinRa's many forces while protecting his comatose friend. It is by no means an easy task.between Shin-ra, the turks, and whatever hollander's weird experiments, it is rather hard for him to keep anyone from touching his friend's head. And though the end of this road lands him on a cliff outside midgar. the Last thing he expected was for the turks to collect him and stash him away somewhere safe to recover, ignoring orders to save their friend's life and give him a fresh start.
